Dubito, Ergo Cogito, Ergo Sum

Ink, Newspaper, tar, pencil and oil on canvas · 420 × 180 cm

"I doubt, therefore I think, therefore I am." Doubt itself is a form of thinking. This work insists that being is not a fixed state but an ongoing negotiation with ambiguity. Doubt becomes an act of faith in consciousness itself – a refusal to accept surface truth, and a commitment to the restless, necessary labor of thinking.
